BigCam is a full-frame CMOS camera built around a FillFactory IBIS4-14000 sensor. The camera is constructed of openly available components, the designs and software are open source, and the mechanical form factor integrates into ThorLabs' 60mm cage system.

NEWS: The camera now has a real IP stack (lwIP) running on the DSP. This means it should be a lot more usable!

The camera is designed primarily for optical bench-top applications, but can be used as a photographic instrument as well. BigCam connects to computers via Gigabit Ethernet, and needs only a 5V power supply, so it can be used with a decent laptop.
